Wacked Out Studios is the creative work of Matt Grimes. I am a mixed media artist based in Norman, Oklahoma. My artwork spans a wide range of styles, from classic hot rod flames and custom airbrush work to highly detailed photorealistic paintings.Working with an airbrush alongside traditional painting techniques, I create art on an variety of surfaces and materials. My inspiration often comes from the natural beauty and wildlife of Oklahoma, my love of animals, and my lifelong fascination with aviation.While I create traditional artwork on canvas and other conventional surfaces, my work extends far beyond the expected. Throughout my career, I have transformed everything from airplanes and motorcycles to cars, guitars, helmets, skateboards, and even unique objects like a fiberglass fish into one-of-a-kind works of art.
